FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  1. Is the Ready Filter a dual stage filter?
Yes.  A more porous outer layer of foam to catch larger dirt particles and a less porous inner layer of foam to capture sandy fine dirt
  2. Are there two separate pieces for each foam stage?
No.  The two stages are fused together in a manner that does not obstruct air flow.
  3. What kind of foam do you use?
The foam is technically engineered specifically for performance and protection use on motocross dirt bikes and ATV’s.  The foam is manufactured at certain heat temperatures and other technical babble that create open cell foam with two different density stages.
  4. Is the Ready Filter disposable (single use)?
Ready Filters can be cleaned and reused just like other foam filters. At $9.95 a lot of people either throw them away or wash them a few times and then throw them away.
  5. Can you wash a Ready Filter?
Yes. Our filters cannot be washed in Gas or solvents. Tested cleaners that work are: Motorex, Uni, PJ1. See cleaning instructions.
  6. How many times can you wash a Ready Filter?
Not sure.  We haven’t tortured ourselves by washing one over and over and over.  We have had testimonies of people washing them 20 times and counting. It depends on how they are washed.
  7. Why is the Ready Filter so inexpensive?  How can you guys do this?
The question should be why have air filters cost so much until now?  We want to level the playing field.  We have worked hard to bring this product to market at a cost where motocross riders can afford to have brand new, clean, pre-oiled air filters when performance matters most.
  8. What kind of oil do you use?
    Maxima FFT.
  9. Can I use No Toil cleaners and oils on a Ready Filter.
No.  The No Toil products contain an alcohol based carrier that will chemically disintegrate a Ready Filter.
  10. How much oil is used?
It varies depending on the filter size.  Ready Filters get completely submerged in a bath of Maxima FFT, then the excess oil is pressed out of the filter by machine press.  The filter is weighed before and after to indicate proper saturation of oil. The result is perfect and even oil treatment every time.  Every foam fiber is completely coated.
  11. Where can I buy a Ready Filter?
Check your local dealer.  If they don’t have them you can buy them online.
  12. Do you have a sponsorship program?
Yes.  Check our website in the Rider Support section.
  13. Has the Ready Filter been tested or used by any Professional or top amateur Racers?
Yes.  We have had numerous racing teams and professional riders such as MotoworldRacing.com, Moto XXX, Team Subway/CocaCola/Honda, TeamECC Suzuki, Team Solitaire’s Ryan Clark, Diablo Honda, David Vuilleman, John Dowd, Rick Johnson test and currently use Ready Filters. On the amateur side Ryan Villapoto, Austin Stroupe, Matt Boni, Josh Huerta, Trevor Reis, Throttle Monsters, Xtreme Team Green, and Honda of Houston all run Ready Filters.
  14. Does removing the screen on the air cage improve performance.
No. Moto XXX has dyno tested a Honda CRF450 with the screen and without the screen on their race bikes. The tests showed zero improvements. Do yourself a favor, leave your screen in and save the extra money on having to buy fireproof air filters.
